baklaan with mom

i just got home from the mall with my mom. nagbaklaan kami. hehe! inaya ko siya to just stroll around the mall and window shop. it's been a really tiring day for me. come to think of it, days for me are much, much longer i always think days have passed pero isang araw lang lahat ng nangyari sa akin. OJT sa umaga, pasok sa hapon at kung anu-ano pa sa gabi. tonight i decided to hang out with my mom. i became her stylist once again. we had jollibee's ice craze (ubo keso), pizzamelt and choco mallow pies. on the way home i showed her the construction site from outside. wala lang.

nonoi-yco almost a year old

nonoi and i had the best monthsary celebration we could ever have: an overnight all-expense stay at richmonde hotel. nonoi and i thought of 3 names for sykes asia's 'name that business unit' contest and we got lucky! hehe! siyempre, i'm so proud kasi we both thought of those really good entries. i had a class in the afternoon so nonoi invited friends over at least habang wala pa ako doon. i'm glad mic-mic came to eat dinner and spend some time with us. rick and randz couldn't come :(

i'm just so really happy with the way things are going for us at the moment. we're not in a rush but we just can barely wait for the time when we'll be living together!!!

by the way, i'm learning japanese. hehe!

we just survived another good friday 'service/performance.' it was so-so, considering we rushed the rehearsals--as if we had a choice. handled 2 choirs, one being ours. i really appreciate every person who sang with us.

i practically didn't get to hear mass. although i was there physically, i was focused on making the slides for the songs during mass! i stayed in my own corner, created my limbo, and typed away on my laptop for most parts of the celebration. at least i got the job done.

i've never been this troubled yet calm; disturbed yet at peace. at least with myself.

i just take each day as it is, doing household chores as my form of penitence. and silently proving to my family that i am not worthless and an ingrate.

i will start working on OJT, thesis and summer class next week. i just pray that everything goes smoothly for me this time. i'm tired of waiting. this is my chance and i hell am sure going to grab it and claim it.

my contribution in Health Today comes out next month. so excited!

falling apart

darn it! since doc created his own profile, the laptop began falling apart. now it takes so long to populate the My Computer folder everytime i open it to check for disk space, and i have to type in full URL's!!! yes, the whole address!!! including http://!!! AAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

CHING the computer is falling apart!

we just got married!

it's funny that one of our (jun and i) friends dreamt that jun and i got married. everybody wore a tux but i (of all people) donned adress. apparently, ako daw si lindsay of QAF.

all guests were caucasian (how sosyal!!!) but our bestmen were filipinos (we had 3). my parents did not get in the venue because ofthe "no political pretenses" protocol that we had.

the wedding venue was unconventional: medyo modern conference hall,dim lights, silver motif. 2 aisles, 3 sections of chairs. one was forold straight couples (i'm guessing my friends), one for guys (we'reassuming gay lahat) and hindi daw maalala kung para saan 'yung isa.

nagalit daw 'yung mga guests kasi the waiters only served waves andwaves of soup. hehe!

UST SINGERS FOREVER!

just got home from AILM. tonight was UST Singers' best performance yet! with the new batch that they have right now, i'm sure they'll do better than ever. i'm so glad i brought my mom along. she cried and was deeply touched. for a number of times, she had goose skin. hehe!

seeing and hearing them sing make me sad a bit. it's like i'm so not worthy to be singing with a choir and they sing so well that sometimes i feel i give singing a bad name. haha!
